- Shore Dental Care Move Update
Dear Patients and Friends,
It’s been wonderful seeing many of you in our current office at 6660 Coyle Avenue over the past few
weeks as we approach our final days operating in that building. Hopefully, you have received and read my prior email from January 4, 2026, announcing the move of my office to a building I purchased in
Carmichael. Our new Dental Office is almost done, with a flurry of activity happening over the coming
week to get everything completed.
Our last day in the current office on Coyle will be February 13, 2026.
On Monday, February 16, 2026, we will move to 5723 Marconi Avenue. It is a stand-alone building in a
complex of 7 office buildings in Oak Leaf Plaza. The closest major intersection is Fair Oaks and Marconi,
where School of Rock, Rey Azteca, and Fiptastic are located. The complex is in the north-west corner of the intersection behind Carmichael Taekwondo. The building is single story, with good handicap access,
parking spots right in front, and no stairs. The interior is large and full of natural light, and best of all, we
have a restroom for patients inside the office! I hope you are as excited as I am to see and experience
the new space.
We will be closed the week of February 16-20, 2026 during our move.
While we should have access to our phones and patient database, not everything always goes to plan. Please be patient with us that week, as phone calls and texts may not be returned as promptly as we would like. Don’t worry, we will send the new address in all appointment reminder texts, emails, and phone calls.
I would also like to share some other fantastic news. Most of you know that Dr. Laurie Hanschu, my
partner and then associate for 15 years, retired in early 2025. I have been able to (mostly) keep up with
the needs of our patients with the help of Christina, my Registered Dental Assistant in Expanded
Function (RDAEF2), who is able to place and finish fillings and crowns with her special license. Without
her, I would never have been able to take care of our patients’ needs over these past nine months.
However, I am finding the increased workload more physically taxing as time goes on, and I know that if I
want to preserve my back, neck, hands, and ears, I will need some help!
Therefore, I am thrilled to announce that Gabriella Vance, DDS, will join our practice as the treating
Doctor on Tuesdays starting in March. Dr. Vance is a Sacramento native and a 2006 graduate of UCSF
School of Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry for 20 years, and for the past 10 years has been working in a practice in Folsom. We have mutual friends since we live in the same neighborhood, and our kids
are just about the same ages. I feel that she’s the perfect fit for our practice, and I am grateful that she is
excited to join us. She and I share similar interests in restorative and esthetic dentistry, and have similar
styles of diagnosis. And, just like Dr. Hanschu, she is left-handed! I hope you will welcome her and trust
her with your care as much as I do.

Please reach out with questions. You can text or call the office at 916-966-4341, as we should have remote access during our moving week.
All the best,
Stefanie Shore, DDS
